The congress programme at the CholodSummit Rossija 2010 is now set. Top-ranking speakers and top international companies from the refrigeration sector will be informing the Russian trade world at the Swissotel Krasnye Holmy Moscow. “Innovative refrigeration technology in the foodstuff industry” is the core theme of the summit on 16 and 17 February 2010. Supporting the congress, ten of the leading international companies from the refrigeration sector will be presenting their new products and services in the foyer exhibition.

“The Russian refrigeration professionals can eagerly look forward to two unique and informative congress days. International experts will be presenting papers on highly topical themes. In this connection such key themes as energy efficiency and environmental protection, but also legal and financial aspects will be among the focal points. The foyer exhibition is also presenting itself as an extremely strong event featuring key refrigeration players on the Russian market”, says a delighted Meike Krüger, Event Manager for the CholodSummit Rossija 2010 at the NürnbergMesse Group.

With its clearly structured programme features, CholodSummit Rossija is primarily addressing congress participants from the following sectors: food and transport industry, food retail trade, facility management, refrigeration technology and refrigeration specialist companies along with engineering offices and specialist planners. In this connection the summit is covering a broad field while being thematically focused.

Among others the trade world can follow these lectures with keen interest: “Efficiency and safety of refrigeration equipment for the food industry”, “Eco-efficient system of centralized refrigeration supply for retail enterprises with the new Bitzer refrigeration compressors”, “Cost savings during the project planning of industrial refrigeration equipment with piston compressor Grasso V with minimal entrainment of oil”, “Energy efficiency in supermarkets on the basis of modern refrigeration technology and automation” or “The uninterrupted refrigeration chain – the reason for the strategy aimed at efficiency and quality of food”, to name but a few.

The CholodSummit will be opened by the keynote. For this purpose the services of two experts renowned well beyond Russia's borders have been acquired: Igor Martynovich Kalnin, Head of Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering Department of the Moscow State University of Environmental Engineering – he will also be hosting the summit, along with Alexander V. Prospects for 2011: Chillventa also being held in Moscow
Chillventa is going to Russia, to be more exact Moscow. From 1 to 3 March 2011 Chillventa Rossija, International Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air-conditioning and Heat Pumps, will be held at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center, Moscow. It is placing its faith in the extremely successful Chillventa Nuremberg concept, which in 2008 advanced from a standing start to the status of world-leading fair. “I am sure that Chillventa Rossija 2011 will be just as much a complete success in Russia as it is in Nuremberg. I am already looking forward to Chillventa’s new Russian daughter”, explains Gabriele Hannwacker, Exhibition Director of Chillventa at NürnbergMesse.

Background
With the CholodSummit Rossija the NürnbergMesse Group is picking up a special theme in Moscow, which is of great significance for the Russian refrigeration industry. Up to now Russia has imported a large part of its food from abroad. However, in future, domestic production is set to be considerably increased; the processing, storage and marketing of foodstuffs requires innovative refrigeration technology. The Russian government is seeking to support and fund this objective with corresponding state-run programmes. “The CholodSummit Rossija is taking into account the wish of many companies to establish an exclusive business platform in Russia with a clear focus on the refrigeration theme”, says MeikeKrüger, explaining the intention of the CholodSummit Rossija 2010.
